My friend Stori and I were out at the wakeboarding event at Blue Lake Park today in Fairview, Oregon and noticed these odd rainbows in the sky, almost like the Northern Lights. There were three different ones and then also a giant rainbow ring around the sun. They were very odd and something we have never seen before...at least not without rain! They lasted for a good couple of hours from about 1:30pm or so till about 3:30pm-4pm. At times they would be extremely bright and colorful but after awhile faded a bit, however were still visible. Not sure if this is due to the summer solstice or not but am curious to know!
