This wasn't the only dinosaur that attended the Car Free Zone event today. I saw a lot of grey beards and blue hair.

I saw no negative reporting of KATU of this event what I saw was that some people were upset that their street was closed and they could neither leave their home or get to their home. If you are so disgusted with KATU then why are you here!?

I rode the course and saw residents and participants having a great time. I also saw people coming and going from their houses without difficulty. I'm disgusted KATU got this story so completely wrong. Keeping their oil and auto advertisers happy...

What event did you cover? Every house, church, & business was accessibe by car. Police helped neighbors and others cross the route & volunteers were ready at every intersection to escort cars to their houses. This is just bad reporting.

Nate: People had mixed opinions about the event. That's why there is YouNewsTV. Feel free to give your report and post it here what you learned about the Car Fee day in North Portland, whether it was positive or negative, but please do be fair.

Once again, a vocal minority of goody-two-shoes telling others how it's going to be. People "drove" from all over to come to this? They need to up their meds! Bicyclists think they own this town. Never have met such arragance as this.

Many homeowners in that area were angry they were held prisoner in their own homes for six hours. Why didn't they close off Washington Park for this event?

The event was received with open arms from Portlanders. Leave it to KATU to cast a negative light. I was absolutely shocked at KATU's shameful reporting on this event. KATU has no connection to our cities spirit. Are you all from the 'burbs of LA?

Did anyone think that this was a good idea for church goers? It made it really hard to get to and from Sunday morning service. Maybe next time on a Saturday for non church goers!

Many of the dinosaurs rode recumbent bicycles. Where was SmellySage, the battleaxe of OregonLive?
