unusual colors in sky

Are there rainbows without rain?

While sitting outside I noticed a patch of extra color in the sky. At first it was fiery red/orange then when I ran to get camera and came back it was more blue/green then almost full rainbow colors. BUT there was no rain, and it wasn't arched across the sky...just one patch? This was above Mill City Oregon 6.22.13 noticed around 1 pm

Yes they are called fire rainbows.

cari is incorrect....it's from the geoengineering aerosol spray. from the planes. the 'clouds' disperse and the sun reflects of the particles (like aluminium) in the atmosphere and creates faux-bows. they do not have the same color sequence as real.
