Back in a time long ago when Video games were just starting to come to be there things that we did that were fun.
We had the ultimate Atvs and were green powered. they were called horses.
These are grand and majestic beasts with great power and agillity.
We new how to harnes there power and there agillity as to win many noble prizes like silver belt buckles and Bridals with real silver ornamentals that had imtricate amd beautiful carvinngs carefully etched in to the soft metal.
when we won things they were of good quality unlike to days things.
Alao as kids we drove a pony cart.
That beast was a stuborn Pony named Charky. and once in competition he would not trot.
The Judge asked " my brother, "why does nlhe not trot?" my brother replied , "because he is old."
we all got a laugh. Charky had a mouth of steel amd no bit would make turn.
He was a grand pony and he would drive a pony cart.
We how ever had an enjoyanle time learning to drive that pony cart. It took 20 minutes to gear up.
And back in the time be fore we feared for our children's safety to the point ofm buble wrapping them in political corectness and fears we were allowed to journey in a contraption called a helicopter.
imagine being suspended in air with 2 blades about 2 inches wide (a guess) and one nut holding the entire thing together that is called the "Jesus Nut".
It was so nick named because if that failed, Lary said Jesus would be the next person we would be seeing.
But it was never a "free ride" owning a helicopter comes with many responsibilities. Care and maintaining the thing was upm to him..Cleaning it was up to us and some times that aviation fuel would make us woozy at its smell.
But the reward was grand as we were like birds in the air for we could see contours of the hills and mountains that make up the Cascade Range And Mt St ahellens was a 20 minute trip .
Yes those were the days that were good .
As for today's kids?
well the parents are working two jobs, there faces are stuck in some kind of device or another.
and they haven't a clue of where food really comes from.
They have little experiences.
And we wonder why we have so many issues.
we need.to.stop the making of video game consoles and get back to the basics .
What would happen if there were no gaming consoles?
Gee I wonder.
