WOW what a storm

It was rumbling like a freight train when I awoke at 3 AM, looked out the window and was blinded by the light immediately followed by loud thunder.
Grabbed my camera, tripod and cable release, ran outside to be greeted by pouring rain. Managed to capture a few good lightning bolts, it was so worth waking up for it, considering that I had chased lightning earlier that evening to no avail
