Spreading down the hill side

Did A Train Cause Another Fire?

Hearing fire trucks and smelling smoke, I looked outside to see a grey ploom and ashes whirling around. I could tell the fire was comming from the train tracks again.
Remembering a few years back how a train started a fire less than a 1/4 mile from that same spot.
Thank goodness is was over in mere minutes. The Fire Fighters were on top of it.

This fire was Tuesday afternoon on the bank of N. Ida by the train bridge and N. Willamette blvd. A witness says kids playing with fireworks started this fire. But it looks like the fire started at the bottom of the hill.

Excellent pictures. This fire was located near Willamette Blvd and the railroad bridge.
