Social Security Dual Edge Sword

Social Security is a *Dual Edged Sword* that cuts two ways.

A person receiving SSA under a individual with a disability as an adult child is lucky to get a this income.

They are lucky because it pays more then SSDI a wellfare bennifits.

But here is the deadly cut that swings the other way.
The son or daughter receiving the bennifits takes away from a second survivor.
It could even effect the surviving realitive such as a parents income .

This means that the surving parentay not get anything or very little.

This is sad because families need to survive.
If you think that the person can ask the government receiving SSA to be busted down to SSDI well, that can not.occur because of the laws and statutes which are many that protects the disabled child.

The Disabled adult child takes precedence over all, Which is sad.

I am telling you this because if you have a disabled child reciecing socially security SSA, Your world is about to rocked if your husband or wife .
Now Suvivor bennits differ then regular SSA benifits.
Survivors bennifits are benifits that go to an adult Child who has lost a parent and are disabled.
This is the bennifits at which are the the hardest bennifits to come.
It is also the dual edge sword I speak of.

Everything changes when a parent dies.

And now you are wondering what the heck may have hit you as a parent of a disabled Child.
Your benifits from your spouze may be greatly reduced.

It is time that you think about your future.
Make plans for such short falls.

That is to say some recipinats can get 10 k a month should a realitive worked a well paying job. The spouse is supposed to recieve the full bennifits from Social Security.

In part this is true. How ever if it is a spouse , they will recive full bennifits while the "Adult Child" could recive more under a different program that is not a welfare . In essence some in some cases, the adult children can get up to 10k
