The easiest spot to fish at Detroit Lake? Just throw your line over the edge of Detroit Dam (yes... it's perfectly legal to do so). Usually we use Powerbait, but a guy told us "nope... try this shrimp" (the little ones you toss on your salad). He gave us a handful and the trout went wild for it. Boo-yah!
