I am sending this along because of the unusual way this trophy Northern Pike was caught. One of our buyers had a customer that traveled to Canada for a little fishing. While fighting a 36" northern pike, a 54", 44 pound pike attacked the smaller fish and was brought into the boat. This fish was caught in the Rainy River in Northwest Ontario, Canada. It should be noted that the bait fish (in the bigger fish's mouth was over the slot limit of 36". After landing this monster the the angler exclaimed " I do believe that I will not be swimming in this lake".
