Here's a nice typical Siletz River fall Chinook. 42" hen caught on brined Herring at anchor. Yes at anchor! We were taking a lunch break enjoying the awesome September weather (absolutely no one catching anything), when my pole bent in half and line started screaming off the reel. I nearly choked on my sandwich! Had a nice 15 min battle before we netted her. First one in my new boat, what a christening! I look forward to your fish tales every morning. Keep up the great work! PS, if you ever want to come along, I usually have an open seat.
