On Sunday, March 18, my husband and son, Blake and Chase, went fishing for spring Chinook in the Columbia. They put the boat in near Kalama, Washington and by 10:40AM had caught these two beautiful fish. Evidently, they were the only ones with any luck anywhere in their vicinity.Chase, age 6, reeled in both springers completely by himself. Blake just set the hooks and netted them. One of the fish had a wire in its nose, so the fish-checker took Chase's name and will be sending him info on where the fish came from. :) We live in West Linn.
