My 11-year-old son, Zach, caught his first salmon this spring, fishing with me on the Wind River. Zach landed the king all by himself on sand shrimp and corkie. Moments later I also landed a springer. Zach has been salmon fishing for two years without touching a fish. After that first salmon, he landed several others, out fishing Dad for 2006. I'll get him next year!
