Nice timing with the weather. I planned a fishing trip with my brother to Lake Shasta for a little sunny fishing and the week we were there was the worst winter weather they have had all winter so far this year. This picture was taken on Feb 26, 2007. We did catch quite a few bass after fishing all day. It did not stop snowing all day long. This was the biggest fish of the day and was caught by me, Scott Ballard. Last summer around the end of July, your station did a story about me missing my retirement party at the fire station where I worked. I was on the fire line over in central Oregon protecting structures on the Black Crater Conflagration Fire so was not able to attend my retirement party. I did finally retire and all is good. Now bring on the sunshine.
