Charlie caught this 15 lb springer yesterday, also about a 20-22 native released and lost one about 18-20 lbs right at the boat :-(.
We were using sardine wrappen kwikfish. She had the hot rod for sure, I need her to go fishing more with me - if this is how things work.
Couldn't have asked for a better day for her. It was pretty chill in the morning but warmed when the sun finally got up. But then you knew that :-)
It was her first trip out with me this year; She has got to go more. We were fishing just out of Washougal, Wash.
Oh yeah, we also saw a 40-45 lb summer caught just above us by a friend of mine whio also turned one loose about the same size!!! on spinners
