Hello from Pacific City !! I have a couple of pictures that I thought you might be interested in seeing. The fishing here on the Nestucca has really picked up in the last couple of days. Lots of really big fish have been hooked on the river.


One of our employees, Scottie Mitchell, took out one of our Hobie Fishing Kayaks on his day off and he hooked into a 30 pounder. It was an amazing fight - pulling him all over the river. He caught the Chinook on a crippled herring.


Don Grotjohn took some action shots of Scottie landing the fish in the kayak. He sent them to me this morning. I am forwarding them to you along with one taken at our docks on the Nestucca River.


Thanks for taking the time to look at these photos. The fish was caught yesterday.
