10/13/2006 - Ryan Volpel

On October 7, Ryan Volpel, 13, of Boy Scout Troop 611 in Clackamas caught this 45 pound chinook near Garibaldi, the biggest fish he's ever caught. When the fish first surfaced, Ryan yelled, "It's bigger than I am"!!! Ryan and 11 of his fellow scouts enjoyed a day of fishing and crabbing, the fourth consecutive year of this event.
