Twelve-year-old Alex Bunch of McMinnville landed this 36-pound Chinook on Tillamook Bay on Sept. 23. He bested his dad, Andrew, as well as the other adults on the boat that day. He caught the Chinook on a spinner trolled on the upper bay. The boy dedicated the catch to an ill grandfather who taught him how to fish.
