The catch of the day was this 60lb. king salmon taken on the Kenai River at Soldotna, Ak. on the 25th of July, 07. The boat belongs to Eldon Townsend of Lebanon, Or. My wife, Teri, is wrestling a Sockeye on the bank of the river. It was the first time I have ever got her to try this, her not being a fishing person. But I know after that day, there is more to life than shopping for her, as you can detect a slight smile on her face. I think I enjoyed that almost as much a landing that 60 pounder!
