Crossing the Blues: Visual Arts Invitational will run August 22 - September 12th at Satellite Gallery in La Grande.

The Satellite Gallery wishes to announce the 1st Annual Invitational Artists Exhibition opening on August 22, 2008 and will run through September 12th.
The group of 24 artists in this exhibit represent a variety of media. Works of photography, printmaking, bronze sculpture,ceramics, blown and fused glass, painting and mixed media will be shown. It is the intention of the curators of this show to coordinate an exhibit in collaboration with the other Signature Events going on during La Grande’s “Crossing the Blues” celebration. This is an attempt to show a cross sample of professional artists working in Union County, though this venue could not include all who live and work here. Each of the 24 artist represented will exhibit on piece of work. Please join us for an evening of fun filled activities in Downtown La Grande during this weekend celebration.
