I live in one of the oldest floatinghomes in Portland. The story is told that is was a brothel on the river in 1893. Many people boat up to my home with friends or family to tell the story of my home. I found it most fascinating that I took my bedroom and decorated it in the fashion of a Bordello. So for my birthday this year the girls said lets have the theme a bordello. Which we did and it was a great success! the picture is of the girls on the top deck as they were in the old days ( as we pictured them doing)

Charlie is not only a treasure, she was once our daughter-in-law, and remains a much loved family member. How sorry I was to miss the party (we returned home to Hawaii just prior to Charlie's birthday). Charlie's parties are wholesome fun!

I was one of the fortunate ones to receive an invitation to the birthday party and I will say that while it was fun. It was extra interesting. I did meet people that I knew and some that I didn't :-) thank you very much for the invite :-)

As a resident of our floating home community and one of the girls of the Bordello, i must say in the years of sunday dinners, xmas ship and other event parties, this one was bar none the most fun we ever had! We love our Charlie and our Bordello!!!!!

Whatever the theme & there have been many a good time is always guarenteed! The tradition of Sunday dinners goes back about 5 years now with parties inbetween and this last one was over the top ~ We even did the famous "Parer Plate Dance"!

Ive been to alot of Parties and that was for sure the most entertaining Party Ive been to. I wasnt dressed up so I am not in the Picture but lets just say there was alot of SKIN showing !!!! You better have another party soon!!!!
