The band playing all the 50's and 60's music was Aspen Meadows, a local group.
They were very good and there were dancers, both male and female on stage dressed in 50's outfits. Many of the young ladies wore "poodle skirts". A couple of the young men were dressed in Ice Cream Soda Jerk white pants and shirts with black bow ties and white hats.
The dancers during one song went out into the audience to perform among the crowd.
Everyone had fun.
This was a very wholesome, family oriented event aimed at an older generation who grew up during those years. It sure brought back a lot of memories.
