Rhonda I love the new outdoors area you have here. It is very user friendly and has a lot of good information. As you know the last weekend for Chinook in Astoria was last weekend. If you made it out there there was great chance you would hook a fish. Well we hooked a lot of fish. We hooked over 30 salmon in 6 hours. It was so much fun. You would look around and see boat after boat with a fish on. Our total for Saturday was 6 keepers, 4 Chinook and 2 Coho. We released a bunch of native Coho plus lost a few nice fish too. Sunday was not as good for us we only hooked 6 fish in 3 hours but did get two really nice Chinook. If this was a prediction of what the fishing is going to be like when the Columbia opens up here I cant wait. Its not that often as a guide that I get to go home with a bunch of fish too. Ususally my clients get them all, but as you see in the second picture I did. Cant wait to see you out there on the river hooking up to a nice fall king.
