This is Bruce Schults with his 47 lb Chinook caught on July 28th aboard Captain Dick West's Sunseeker out of Ilwaco (Dick's been fishing ther for 50 years). We were fishing the Pacific off of Gearhart. Bruce has fished in Alaska and Oregon extensively and this is his largest salmon ever. I had the honor of netting this beauty and bending the net trying to get it in the boat before catching a 27 lber of my own.
