Teagan and Nichaela are cousins, that were born 25 hours apart. Their moms, sister in laws, Wendi and Shantelle had separate due dates, but ended up in labor on the same day. Shantelle was due to be induced at 8am on September 5th 2007 in Lincoln City, OR while Wendi went into labor shortly after midnight on the 5th in Boise, ID. Teagan was born first at 4:07(CST)am, weighing 8lbs, and was 20.5 inches long. Nichaela was born September 6th at 5:36(PST)am, weighing 9 lbs, 11 3/4oz and was 20.5 inches long. (Wendi's mom and Shantelle's mother in law Margaret was able to be in Boise.ID for the birth of Teagan and then back to Lincoln City,OR for the welcoming of Nichaela.)
Although the families live just a little bit apart, they still manage to get together every 2 to 3 months so the kids can spend time together and play. They just celebrated their bithdays a week early this past weekend when Teagan was in Oregon visiting!
