It started with four speeding fire trucks passing our window outside of the offices of RYZ Wear (www.ryzwear.com). We heard the sirens but did not realize that the action was just outside of our doors.
Upon smelling the smoke, we hurried out to the street to find the scene - four trucks, a police car, scrambling to get ready for what looked like a substantial firefight.
As the smoke got thicker, the firefighters increased their intensity and battle of the flames...four ladder trucks arrived, unleashing their liquid pressure on the collapsing building.
A great job by both Portland Police and Firefighters - these guys really earned their pay today...
