Saturday my cousin and I took our aunt out deep sea fishing aboard the FV Tacklebuster, in Depoe Bay Oregon. The ocean was beautiful and the weather was fabulous. I hooked the first fish of the day and with in a few drifts had my limit of six rock fish. I started pounding the bottom in search of a ling cod. Two drifts later I had a nice ling. Shortly after the boat limited out and it was time to head home. A great day to spend on the ocean.

True, it was a beautiful day but nothing can beat the thoughtfulness of the two wonderful nephews who gave me the opportunity to spend it doing something I love to do and to do it with such great nephews as my fishing partners.
