On Oct-23 I was taking our dog outside and started walking towards our fruit trees when I heard some commotion in the tree. I looked and seen this black blur coming down and I suddenly realized it was a black bear! I must of startled him and fortunately he headed away from me. At the same time I quickly headed into the house. Luckily I had my camera available and was able to snap some quick shots. I missed one of him standing up but I figured he was at least six feet tall when standing. He just wanted our apples and we've only seen him a few times since and probably won't see him until next year. It was pretty exciting to see him that close without any barrier between us. We've named him Bob but I doubt if he cares :)
