It was cold that morning... man, was it cold. October 24, 2008. I remember it like it was just last week. I saw the glow of the beginnings of a beautiful sunrise beaming in my front window. I grabbed my camera and adjusted the settings, grabbed my beanbag and remote switch and ventured out into the cold, wet field to try to capture natures wake-up call. I crouched down, then laid on my belly in the damp grass, set the camera down and began to level it out for the shot. I heard something approach from either side. It happened so quickly, first the tempting smell of pumpkin pie, then a flash of orange. I quickly snapped a picture! When I looked up I saw nothing but the glorious sunrise. But when I loaded my picture onto the computer I saw something more.... Much more...... Happy Halloween!
Ambush!!!
