I recently went diving in west Seattle (Oct 11) with a friend and had the dive of my life! I have been diving several times in washington and had never once seen one of these big guys. He was sitting under an old sunken barge with a mate. I was able to watch them up close for a long time, I couldn't believe all of the eaten out crab shells around their home. I was later talking with another diver who works at the Seattle Aquarium and he said it is the biggest one he had ever seen. What a lucky day! Love the Northwest
