The Annoyance Factor:
As a responsible voter, I acquaint myself with the candidates and issues, read the voter’s pamphlet and make sure that I know the positions. Why then do local politicians send all of this material? The attachment is a photo of just today’s mail.
At this end stage of this long, long campaign season, I’d rather see a candidate mail me a small postcard which says that, in lieu of expensive, four color, die-cut mailing pieces, a donation has been made to a local charity or need. That would be refreshing!
