Morning at Cape Horn

A day in the Columbia Gorge

With summer on the way out and fall fighting its way into our life, I desided to take a look at more than the amazing colors starting to turn in the trees. My day started at 4:30 in the morning with anticipation of what was to come. My friend and I had wanted to catch the sunrise and just make a day of travel and photography without any kids or distractions. We were not dissapointed. From the moment we rounded the corner of hwy 14 at cape horn, we new we were in for a day made for the camera. Our travel took us east on Hwy 14, across the bridge of the gods, and west on Hwy 84 to the falls. With no timetable in mind, we took our time and saw sights normally missed by the hurried traveler. With the stressed lifestyle most people live, a day with nothing but a good friend and a camera, could be just what the Dr. ordered.
