The Japan Night festival of 2008 will be held Monday, November 24 at the Portland State University Smith Memorial Center Ballroom from 5:30 pm until 9 pm. This even is put on by PSU's Japanese Student Society in conglomeration with the Portland Japanese Consulate. There will be Taiko drumming, traditional Japanese dance, catering by Bush Garden restaurant, speed eating contests, and much, much more! Advance tickets cost 7 dollars and can be purchased at the Smith Center box office (first floor) on the PSU campus. Tickets at the door will be 10 dollars. Only 500 guests can come this year so get your tickets fast! Please join us for a fun night of food and Japanese culture!
