These three pics go together. They are the entire front page column of The Tulsa Tribune on November 22nd, 1963. Sorry about the flashes. The newspaper was laminated several years ago and the picture has a glass front.
At least you can get the gist of this historical account. Keep in mind, newspaper publishers had no computers in those days and everything had to be "typeset" by hand.
Now, think, according to this article, JFK died at 1:00pm, Central Time. This newspaper was typeset, organized, printed, bundled, loaded on trucks and I actually had this very copy in my hands to deliver at 5:00pm that day! This is the day he died, not the next day.
