One half of dog park.
At N.E. 57th and Hassalo, in Portland, there's a great unleashed dog park. It has two seperate sections, originally designed for small dogs and large dogs. But, everyone says they kind of transformed into the ball-throwing-active section and the stand around and just socialize section.
I don't know who socializes more, the dogs or the humans.

a great park for many who come from n,s,e,w, but I beg to differ with the small dog comment. My palm walks through and gone with no problem, both sides. but great for the rest
