We were driving back to Portland from
Las Vegas on highway 95 in March of this year. While passing through Gold Field, an old mining town that has seen better days, we noticed the cemetery and decided to stop and take pictures. It was amazing to read the head stones, one of which was of a soldier who fought in the Confederate Army, the Spanish American war and in World War 1.

I love this cemetery! My friend Shannon and I took a bunch of photos there in May of 2009. We caught some very interesting orbs that seem to have faces in them. It was a very peaceful experience. This cemetery has so much history and is very lovely.

This is a popular cemetery destination for gravers, i.e., cemetery enthusiasts, as well as historians and the general public. Lots of history here. It's a great visit.
