Cars Slide Down Icy Hill

by cronked (Subscribe)

Posted on: Dec 16, 2008 at 7:48 PM PST

Channel: Weather & Scenery

Location: South Waterfront

South Waterfront neighborhood, Portland, Oregon. Looking from our condo we can see cars attempting, and most failing, to climb up a hill and exit the neighborhood. I decided to put together a montage of sliding cars set to music.

Best laugh I've had all day. This perfectly captures my situation here, stuck on a side street. The main road is oh so close... if only I could get to it! Thanks.

This comedy alone makes the price of those condo's worth it! Who needs cable tv when you can sit in your condo and watch this..?? I now want to live on a hill just for the entertainment factor.

That was hilarious! Looks like the famous S.F. hill I lived on.that had a stop sign at the top of the hill, before the flat part. Bill Cosby did a routine about it once, about the guy who opened up a used car lot on the hill.

Marvelous. This has made it all the way to New England (where we DO plow and sand our streets) but the plow creates a 4' high mountain at the entrance to the driveway as a final trap for the unwary. All praise to the tow truck people of the world !
