Imagine my disbelief when my 16 year old daughter, who has been driving for only 6 months was told by her manager at Bellagios Pizza that if she didn't make it into work, despite the icy road conditions, she would be fired. I don't know about the rest of you, but we had half of our work force NOT show up this week, all of whom are adults and have driven on snow before. I tried to get home to take my daughter to work, but by the time I did so they told her they were going to close early due to the weather. I also found out they had no delivery drivers working because they didn't want to deliver pizza due to the road conditions. But they fired my daughter for not being able to make it into work. It is obvious that Bellagios does not care about the safey of their staff or any of the rest of us that were negotiating the roads this week. There are many other places to order pizza these days, Bellagios is now off my list.

That is absolutely terrible. I would report them to state and city agencies. Bureau Of Labor & Indiustries might help. Call the News channels let them know o fthis unfair firing.

I'm sorry your daughter lost her job, that is horibble they fired her. I'm 27 years old and have been driving for years, and I will not drive in this weather. I hope she find another better job, one that is more understanding.
