Eeyore the miniature donkey and Maverick the Mustang share a meal in Clatskanie at 1000'

1000' in the Oregon coast range

Horses need food too. We put hay in a cart and wheel it out to the paddock. We also spread the hay throughout the paddock, so that the equine get to graze on it for hours.

Without a real field to graze on during the winter, it is important to create an environment where the horses (and donkey) get to graze anyway.
