Snow birds herons sculpture

One day while working in our studio we heard this loud noise outside. It got to the point were we couldn't work. As we opened up the front door of the studio, we saw the herons just hanging out, looking like they wanted something. We tried to get them to come in out of weather, but for some reason they wouldn't move from were they were standing. A short time later we looked outside and found that they had left. We were worried for awhile that they might get lost in the weather, but found ourselves feeling that they would be OK. After all, they are the city's bird and have been here long enough for that.
