With all it's activities, Meldrum Bar Park (in Gladstone, Oregon) is a summer hot spot for most locals. However, few realize that it is also cool destination when covered in winter snow.
When covered, all of it's familiar landmarks take on a whole new beauty. It is a fun family game, to try and remember what is hidden under each little mound of snow. A small, insignificant, fir, tree, dwarfed by it's tall, leafy neighbors in the summer time, suddenly becomes the central focus of this awkward group of naked giants as the snow accentuates each of it's beautiful, green boughs.
