Saturday night brought blizzard conditions to Vancouver and outlying areas. The Jones Creek ORV area located in the south-east corner of the Gifford Pinchot National Forest (about 10 miles north-east of Camas, WA) received yet another 4 inches of snow on top of the 6 inches left over from the preceding week of wintry weather. By 5:30 a.m. Sunday morning both freezing rain and snow was falling, and a 1/4 inch crust of ice had formed on top of the 10 inches of snow.
