The snow began on Sunday Dec 14, and didn't turn to freezing rain until early on Dec 21. We have between 15 inches to 2 feet up here at about 800 feet elevation. This picture was taken on the 17th, but the snow got deeper before we started getting the freezing rain. The temp up here has warmed up to 20 degrees but I am watching the icicles dripping off the qutters, from the windows. This may be caused by the stovepipe in the attic.
We are hoping our children can get their flights on time to make it home for Christmas, one of them comes in today and the other one comes in with her family on Wednesday, but had to fly into Seattle, both from California.
