In NW Portland in the Cedar Mill area a huge snow drift accumulated during the day and into the night of December 20th. Pictures were taken on the morning of December 21st when Todd Daniel and his Son, Caden went out to shovel a path for their dog to get to the grass. The western part of the yard has just 2 inches of snow, but the wind blew 3 feet of snow against the house and across the patio.
