When I went to check my feeder this morning to see if it was frozen, I noticed a hummingbird hanging from it by his legs. I thought the poor little guy had froze to death. My daughter Megan went out to check it out and when the bird heard her crunching on the ice he woke up! His poor little foot was stuck to the feeder and he couldn't fly away. I poured some warm water on his foot and off he flew. This is the first year I have left my feeder up all year long and I have plenty of customers every day. Don't forget to feed the birds!
