The Trees are A-Creakin' in Castle Rock!

In the past 24 hours, snow accumulation at our house jumped from 9 to 14 inches. Additionally, sleet and freezing rain fell last night leaving the snow with a crusty top and the trees coated so they creak when the wind blows. We suspect the appearance of the landscape may change as the day progresses since any stiff breeze will potentially take down limbs. We're staying inside in front of the wood stove waiting for whatever comes next. Stay warm and safe everyone!! That includes each and every one of the reporters for KATU. If I were close enough to bring you all coffee, I would!
