The hummingbird does not like snow piled on his feeder. On December 20 he flew underneath it and all around the snow-covered feeder knowing the nectar was just inside. Finally I took the lid off and he tried again inching his way up to the top where he found the uncovered feeder and happily sat on the edge slurping the nectar.
