The fire pit looks more like a giant snowball

Snow and hummingbirds

It's been snowing for the past several days, and we here in Ballte Ground, WA, have had about 8 inches of snow. On top of that, we have about a half an inch of ice.

The first picture is of our firepit. As the snow came down all through the night, the snow piled higher and higher onto the pit.

The second picture is of our awning. We found this morning that it had collapsed under the weight of all the snow and ice.

In the third picture, a hummingbird came to visit us! I was surprised, as I thought they had all migrated for the winter.

Sincerely,
Breanna
Battle Ground WA
