This picture was taken on the balcony looking out on the back side of our house in Lake Oswego. My dad, my mom, my sister, and I thought that the snow on top of the balcony table looked like a cake. That was our inspiration. First my mom got out the cake knife and the cake stand cover, and then she got the idea to add in red and green candles on top and light them. For the finishing touches to our staging she acted like she was going to serve it to us on our Christmas plates for dessert!
My sister was hoping for snow when she came back from California Lutheran University for winter break. We think this takes the cake!
