We were confused as we watched the news about the storm around the Portland area because the weather in Colton has been above freezing all day and the ice was melting. Around 3:30 PM it was 34 degrees outside and we were watching the ice melt off of the barn. I looked out the window at 4 PM and found that the temperature had dropped to 26 degrees and it was snowing like mad.
