This tree missed our house by a few yards, and broke down our fence. I was taking a nap because of boredom, and all the sudden I hear a crack and look out the window to see a huge poof of snow and the tree crashing to the ground.
Luckily, the tree had missed the house and our little frozen water feature, but had only smashed the fence.
My daughter and I had been collecting wood in that exact spot only 20 minutes earlier, and we went inside (with all seven of our dogs...safe). Perfect timing.
